Imaginative Vessel Maker

Amy is a London-based Taiwanese mixed-media textiles artist specialising in handcrafting imaginative vessels and tactile landscapes inspired by women, nature, and life herself.

Constantly guided by a sensitivity to her emotions and subconscious mind, her creative process is an intuitive adventure of translating the changing seasons of her inner garden into vessels of abstract landscapes. When conjuring ideas, she enjoys experimenting with a wide range of materials utilising various handcrafting techniques that include coiling, patching, embroidery, tufting and felting.

Through her creations, characterised by their abstract and eccentric essence, she aims to spark imagination and propose a poetic way of sensing, perceiving and living that embraces the mysteries of the unseen, the embodiment of feminine energy, and the enchantment of Mother Nature.
