Kiss Goodbye
Transcribing the unseen yet turbulent impulses of mourning the death of a lover into a physical form of grief through the rhythmic motion of coiling
Through the act of making, the intuitive yet rhythmic motion of coiling serves as a physical response to the turbulence of mourning the death of a lover—a process shaped by the unpredictable ebb and flow of grief.

20cm x 23cm x 20cm
handcrafted vessel, made of grief and coiled with wool yarn and wire
The resulting form is an organically complex structure, embodying the entanglement of loss, fleeting memories and undying love.
The vessel materialises only the tip of the iceberg when compared to what it holds—the weight of separation, the persistence of a love unwilling to fade, and the invisible yet ever-present imprints of grief.
These emotions, unseen to the human eye, continue to weave through one’s existence in a holographic way, ever present beneath the surface of life.
