Amy's mother, Lisa, used to collect dried plants and feathers for her. After losing her to a sudden illness, Amy began to create vessels that could hold them in memory of her.

These were the first two vessels she intuitively crafted with irregular shapes and wool yarns. The process of making them helped her reshape her grief and capture the warmth of home.
