My mother, Lisa, used to collect dried plants and feathers for me. After losing her to a sudden illness, I began to create vessels that could hold them in memory of her.

These were the first two vessels I intuitively crafted with irregular shapes and wool yarns. The process of making them helped me reshape my grief and capture the warmth of home.
